Core Leadership Team
Chris Oravetz
Chris is a graduate student at the Theological Institute for the New Evangelization in Brighton with interests in Catholic Social Doctrine and Theological Anthropology. He observes the tragic confusion by many youth skeptical, yet hungering for authentic and lasting love. Pure in Heart says yes to beauty through commitment to purity. He
wishes to spread this message to youth, young adults, and parents alike.
“Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground. So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate, and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace.” Ephesians 6:14-15
Kev Ouellette
Kev works as a high school Latin teacher at Boston Preparatory Charter Public School in Hyde Park. He believes that our world desperately desires to know God’s eternal love and that people want to live their lives as a response to His love, but corrupted by temptations and fleeting pleasures, they are unable to see what their hearts desire most. It is Kev’s hope that Pure in Heart, by promoting purity in our world and building community focused on Catholic teachings, will provide a refuge for Catholic young adults to learn about their faith and grow closer to their heavenly Father.
“And behold, Elizabeth, your relative, has also conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month for her who was called barren; for nothing will be impossible for God.”
Luke 1: 36-37
Nicole Rudolph
Nicole is currently working on her doctorate in International Relations on Ecumenism and Issues of Life/Sexuality with the Sorbonne. She desires that the truth about sexuality as expressed by John Paul II’s Theology of the Body set people free to live an ethos of love, and to educate others on up-to-date empirical evidence which confirms Church teaching.
“Now to him who is able to accomplish far more than all we ask or imagine, by the power at work within us, to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21
Anne Marie Warner
Anne Marie is a graduate of Bentley University, and is currently working as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston. She believes in the beauty and power of purity and is passionate about spreading the truth about chastity and the sanctity of human life to the youth.
“For I know well the plans I have in mind for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare, not for woe! Plans to give you a future full of hope. When you call me, when you go to pray to me, I will listen to you.” Jeremiah 29:11-12
Keeley Wray
Keeley is a Technology Marketing Specialist at Children’s Hospital Boston; she gives business advice to scientists who have invented a new drug or medical device.
She believes the choices you make related to your body in romantic relationships can have lasting consequences, and aligns herself with Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin in saying we should work to create a society for which it is “easy to be good.”
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5
